The Erie County Aquatic Hall of Fame (ECAHF) exists to promote aquatics through the recognition of both athletes and non-athletes of Erie County who have made outstanding contributions in the field of aquatics.

Inductees of the ECAHF will include but are not limited to swimmers, divers, water polo players, coaches and officials. Inductees will have reached the age of 30 by their year of induction. The ECAHF will accept nominations emailed to the ECAHF Secretary at anytime. There is no accomplishment that qualifies anyone for automatic induction. The ECAHF board members will select inductees around Thanksgiving of the year previous to their induction. There will be at least a one month notice prior to the date of the Erie County Aquatic Hall of Fame Induction Dinner.

The ECAHF offers a scholarship opportunity each year to Erie County aquatic athletes and will also promote events to further the aquatic movement in Erie County. The ECAHF plaques are displayed in the bleachers of the David M. Hallman III Aquatics Center located in the Hagerty Family Events Center in Erie, PA,

The Erie County Aquatic Hall of Fame was founded by Tom Doyle in 1998.

The 2026 ECAHF Induction dinner will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026 at The Kahkwa Club - 3300 Kahkwa Club Road, Erie, PA. 16506

Cost of the Dinner is $35

There will be a social hour starting at noon, Dinner will be at 1:00 pm followed by the induction ceremony

Reservations for dinner would be appreciated at least one week prior to the event
