We have had a great response to the 2024 ECAHF Pat Hart Scholarship!

As of March 8, 2024 we have met our quota for Free session passes to this year’s Fitter and Faster Swim Camp.

Any requests we receive now will be placed on a waiting list.

Ashley Van Horn is a freshman at Harbor Creek High School with a 4.0 grade point average.  She is a member of the varsity cheerleading, volleyball and diving teams.  Her background in USA Gymnastics was a big advantage in her qualifying for the District X Diving Competition and being within four points of the school record.   In the spring she hopes to play softball and do track.  Ashley serves as a mentor to younger athletes in diving, gymnastics and cheerleading.  Last year Ashley attended a one-day diving clinic at the State University of New York, Fredonia Campus.  She most likely will use the ECAHF scholarship to attend the Fredonia Diving Camp.

Rex Riley is a junior at Cathedral Prep with a 3.9 grade point average.  He is a three-year letterman in water polo and swimming.  Rex was All State his freshman and junior years in water polo. He obtained All American status all three years in swimming.  Rex is also the freshman record holder in the 200 I.M. and 100 Breast.  He has the varsity record in the 100 Breast with a time of 55.73.   Rex has been a state medalist three times to date.  He finished third in the 100 Breast last year at the state meet.  His service activities include visiting the elderly and working with children at the Erie Children’s Museum.  Rex’s favorite service activity is to help as an assistant swim coach for the Saint George School Swim Team.  Rex tries his best to echo his love for the sport to the younger swimmers in hopes that they too might give back to their community.  Rex is tentatively planning to attend the Notre Dame Swim Camp.
